How to Plan the Perfect Honeymoon to Disney World

Your honeymoon is a special time for you to enjoy being together as a newly married couple. Disney World and the other Disney parks are some of the most popular destinations for honeymoons in the United States. The following are some tips to help you plan your perfect Disney World honeymoon.

Timing Is Key

Seeing Disney in the offseason can allow you to avoid some of the crowds. Some of the less popular months are August, September, January, and February. Visiting during a weekday can also give you more opportunities to see everything without the huge lines of people. If you wish to visit several of the parks with plenty of time to enjoy them, you should plan for around five to seven days of vacation time.

Choose Your Lodging

There are many options when it comes to lodging near Disney World. The Disney Resorts provide you with close access to the parks and have plenty of amenities. Many of them also have in-room packages for food, spa treatments, and other offers to make your honeymoon extra special.

Check Out the Special Events

There is almost always a festival or event going on at Epcot or Magical Kingdom. Be sure to see which events are happening when you’re there so that you can take advantage of them. Some events like the Food and Wine Festival in the fall would be ideal for honeymooners.

Visit Animal Kingdom

A trip to Disney World wouldn’t be complete without seeing some of the secrets in the Animal Kingdom park. You can take a privately guided tour to see many exotic animals in beautiful, lush habitats. As an added bonus, you can have a professional photographer come with you to capture all those special moments of your trip.

Reserve a Romantic Evening

There are several opportunities for couples to have some romantic time to themselves while seeing the beauty of nighttime at Disney World. You can book a dinner at one of the restaurants around the park, and some of them offer views of the nightly fireworks display. Another unique way to spend the evening is a fireworks cruise on your own private yacht.

When planning your honeymoon to Disney World, the key to having the perfect experience is to plan ahead. There is plenty for adults to see and do in the parks. You can enjoy the rides, attractions, food, and events at your own pace to get the full Disney experience. There are also many other great things to do in Orlando, so once you’re finished there, there’s still more you can do!
